From street corners to big stages

Antoine Fradkin picked up the violin at 4. By 14 he was busking in the streets of Québec City, learning the essentials: how to catch a crowd’s attention and keep it.

He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance at the Université de Montréal. That training lets him move easily between jazz, classical, folk, pop and rock, and improvise over almost any song.

Over eight years and 150+ events he has played the Montréal International Jazz Festival, TV’s En Direct de l’Univers, a Montréal Alouettes game opener and Disney’s Epcot Canada Pavilion, and performed alongside artists such as Édith Butler and Philippe Tremblay.

Based in Montréal, he plays throughout Greater Montréal, Québec City and Ottawa–Gatineau, in English and French.
